Finally lowered my Black VRS in AP coilies

Featured Replies

Finally got round to fitting my AP coilies a couple of weeks ago and decided to have a last minute camping trip last weekend, so I took some pictures (excuse the very dirty car pics!).

Pre-lowering (you can just about make out the carbon fibre grill wrap and my DIY carbon fibre VRS grill badge):

Post-lowering (plus Honda stubby aerial and carbon fibre rear VRS badge):

Comments welcome (unless it's about the dirtiness of the car!!).

Looks really nice mate :)

Cheers mate! The other things I've done are headlight protectors, front splitter, debadged rear 'fabia' and a rear ARB.

To be honest I can't see me doing much more to it other than the odd 'luxurious' extra - a set of 'show' wheels. Power-wise, I don't go steaming about anywhere really, so I'm not in to remaps etc, but time will tell! :)

Liking the highlight protectors, orignal skoda part?

looks good mate

Thanks. Yes, made in Australia judging by the stamp on them. The only problem was that I got them second hand off Ebay and they didn't come with the metal clips to hold them to the top of the headlight, so I have temporarily tied them on with string until I can work out a more OEM way of doing it!

Any links for the ariel mate?

Cheers

Would that one fit? I did buy one a while ago but the reception quality was crap.

I'm no expert mate. The only reason I knew this would fit was because it came off a VAG car. The advert I got mine from was titled 'Honda stubby aerial'. I'm sure some people with more knowledge may be able to help more than me. As for the reception, I haven't had any problems. It's gets Radio 1, 2, 4 and local stations very well. As for long wave, I don't think I've tried yet, sorry!
