Columbus - Mix the whole HDD

Featured Replies

Hello All,

A little help please. I spent the afternoon loading my music on to the HDD to stop me playing with the "next" button on my iPhone. Now I can play withthe "next" button on the steering wheel.

All the songs are on the HDD - All perfectly arranged by artist and then by their album. I can getthe system to mix (random order) all of the songs for an artist, however I like to mix then whole HDD order.

Any ideas on how to do it. From the list of artist, the Extras button isn't displayed

Thanks Dave

Place one single song at the top of the HDD in no folder, then enable mix and play that one song. Once that song has finished it should random play across the whole HDD.

Very cool - B) Thank you. I was just getting to the point where industrial strength rude words at goofing it up were coming out.

I'm going to try this later.... Just what I wanted also.

But remember to check "include subfolders" in settings, otherwise it will only play the song at the top of the HDD.

Does this also work for an SD card???

Yes it does

This works on Bolero SD card too ! Thanks Mannyo - you're a legend ! I'd given up trying to get this working...
