Snapped folding wing mirror on Elegance Superb - advice please - picture link added

Featured Replies

Advice requested please.

Frustratingly just snapped the connection of my passenger side folding wing mirror.

All electrics and paintwork intact.

Can the metal piece that connects the mirror to car be replaced or is it all a fixed unit?

Am I going to stung for the whole thing?

All advice welcomed to prepare me for discussion with Skoda dealership.

Many thanks,

Willubby

The nearside wing mirror on my Octy was vandalised and left dangling from the electrical cable. I had to have the entire mirror replaced and the replacement mittor cover painted. From memory, the total cost was around £150, however, this was 3+ years ago.

I was only talking about this today and apparently they are a complete unit.
