Ok MKI Superb in the boot behind panel on N/S I have a first aid kit then CD autochanger and then theres a hole with points to take 1 bolt either side.

Should what option was available to fit in that gap?????

Agreed there, it's this doubrie for the tv unit. I have had 3 MK1 Superb's and they all had this gap with two fixing points.
