Women + Window = GRR

Featured Replies

Okay so brief synopsis....

- Argument with girlfriend in car

- She gets out and slams the passenger door as hard as she can

- Window was open at the time

- Electric window won't close anymore

Glass seems intact, is it likely it's just dislodged?

Any ideas?

Could be dislodged yeah or the wiring has come loose for the motor ?

Best to get the door card and maybe the carrier off for a look

Cool okay. Any tips on removal of the card?

There is a guide on here about removing the rear door cards and the fronts are pretty much the same to remove.

I'm guessing you'd have to remove the metal carrier to get to the window mechanism but not 100% sure and it will be either bolted or riveted on !

Dump her...! :wonder:

If some psycho woman broke my car for no good reason, that would be quite high up on my 'to do' list :@

I'm grumpy because I'm hungover :drunk::sick: :zzz:

Any ideas?

1) Dump the mare

2) Probably broke the clip that holds the glass to the motor linkage thing. Is a brittle bit of plastic, quite fragile! Need to get door card off, and the door skin too. Is not easy sadly.

Deserves a slap as hard you can tbh, silly slut
