Saw my new Furby today!!

Featured Replies

Went up to the dealer today to hand him my insurance and there she was:

Gleaming black paint

sparkly Zenons

Private plate

and

Continental tyres??????

Are they the really pap ones? I read some banter on here about different tyres and if my alzheimer ridden memory serves me well, they got slated. No??

Whatever, the dealer has agreed to release the car at 1 minute past midnight (top bloke  ) on 01 March. I need the car for work the next day, umm my mum's in hospital, urrh I'm an on call doctor (and other random excuses :D )

And after that, it's off to Revo - or Jabba - or AMD oh here we go again  ?????????

Cheers and if anyone's got some tyre info, it would be much appreciated.

Is your surname "COE"?? I hope so as you're new plate means nothing to me unless its true. :D

Must be horrid seeing your car there and you're not gonna have it for another week and a bit. Was it in the showroom, or outside and locked up from other customers getting in and having a fiddle? :D

First time I saw my first TDI was the day I went and picked it up. I had some faith. :)

Surnames Roscoe and my first initial is M. Won't tell you how much it cost me though. Haven't told the wife yet :Yikes: .

Christ on a bike, that's gonna hurt in the morning when I do

Cheers

Aha! That makes even better reading. :D I can't imagine it would be much would it - Not a

It was the Michelin's that got slated. Mine came with ContiSport II's and so far have been fantastic in wet/dry/ice and snow

Is this the private plate you are putting on your car?

If so i'd becareful about posting it on here. Big brother is watching, it may also lead to security risks.

:D

Hmmm good point! But in the words of my mate Anthony in an English lesson when I was 15...........'but Sir, we're all anonymous'! (No, I never worked it out either )

Good steer on the Sport Conacts. I am a very happy chappy now. On the Number plate side of thing, be careful how many times you check for a certain plate on the DVLA web-site, as it has a hit register against every plate. So the more hits = more popular = higher price when it is released. Learnt that one to my own (very expensive) cost!

Cheers

I agree the sport contis were great this jan when i drove o the austria alps in all kinds of weather.

Enjoy the new car, :thumbup::thumbup:

I looked at a private plate - just for a laugh - and the price just puts me off. I'd rather save that kinda cash for car improvements, fuel, and so on...

It's a luxury but why not if you want it :D

Top news mate - it must have been great to see it

I posted my insurance to the dealer today - kinda wish I woulda taken it there myself and had a sneek-peek. Oh well :(

Roll on Tuesday morning :woot:

I had a sneek peek of mine last week! as you can see by my avatar i took a few pics when i was there!

Was amazing seeing MY actual Vrs after wanting one for so long!

Think were all gonna be very happy people on tuesday!!! :)
