Fookin birds....

Featured Replies

Spent 2 hours yesterday evening cleaning the car (including a clay bar session), well happy with the results. Then this morning I came out to a fekin seagull blitz grieg!! :@

Now I know what a Black Magic estate would look like with a white roof. :wall:

I hope you waxed / Sealed it! If so it should just wipe off with a quick wash / detail spray?

Er....no! I was losing the light so the wax was going on today. :'(

Bad luck!

So last step last night was clay? Bad luck mate.

Suppose it's a real issue with your location, and where you work I suppose!

Always found my red Octy was the worst for attracting 'droppings' - touch wood I don't have too much issue with Black Magic. They're probably not that picky by the seaside mind you emoticon-0120-doh.gif

Don't let them defeat you though - onwards and upwards! Clean it down again, then seal - and wax  emoticon-0103-cool.gif

Yep, typical!

Not so much work, but I can almost smell the sea from my house. :(

Round 1 to the terns, but its now clean and waxed, so up there's!!

Good work mate. Bit soul destroying though.

Remember when I visited Whitby last, there's a car park on the harbour that I wouldn't use in a million years. Gulls the size of small dogs *sitting* on the cars, and stuff deposited that looked like it would be extremely difficult! Looked more like guano than anything else emoticon-0149-no.gif

Example that I wouldn't directly post in a thread. Don't click if you're having your lunch or are weak of stomach! <link>

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Looking beyond the subject matter, that is an incredible picture.

LOL, you'll now know why I didn't directly link!

Actually got hit by some of that once, while at NSL on an A-road. It was a.) a shock and b.) EXTREMELY difficult to remove when I got home, even 10 mins later. Was like something out of GhostBusters :S

You can say that again!

What i was greeted to when i came out of work last week:

Came off after snow foam and jet wash failed and i soaked under a cloth for a good 20mins. Etched into the clearcoat on the bumper though but hopefully the DA will sort that..

I do feel your pain. I had several such issues during my Corrida ownership. Would still own another though!

I did actually ask a 'twitcher' friend of mine about this, apparently there is some truth/logic in it - some birds do react to red, get a bit worried and well, you can guess the rest.....

I was sat outside work the other day having a well deserved cuppa when a sh1tehawk dropped a load over three parked cars including a Z4 that the owner had left the roof open on. He came out later and we all got to hear his choice comments as he had to clean his seats and dash and all inside his car.
