Will sofa go in Octavia Estate...

Featured Replies

I would like to know if a sofa 102cm width by 73cm high by say ~7 foot long (nothing like mixing imperial and metric  ) fits in an Octavia Estate....

Ta!

I should stick with the seats you have ;)

Dont' think it will. I reckon the 102cm side will restrict you. But then sofas are funny things, you can get them through doors etc they really shouldnt go through by turning them etc.

I had an oven and dishwasher in the back of mine, at the same time - was a very tight fit though

The brochure shows the maximum length of the load area as 1716mm, ie 5' 7", measured from inside rear to back of front seats.. The slope of the rear door eats into that. Rear door width is 1051mm at the bottom and 856mm at the top. A job for Pickfords, I think. A thought - you could carry it on the roof if it weighs less than 75kg.

It will, but you may have to trim a few inches off here and there ;)

Thanks guys, it only needs to go about a mile, so looks like we could get away with a bit sticking out the back with the boot open....

I'll keep an eye out for the "How do I replace the tailgate on an octy" thread.

Does the Sofa have seat belts - the police might stop you if not. :)
