Right after bit advice please.Looking for a vrs petrol 06/07 and have seen a few with over 60000 on the clock that have full skoda s.h. and the cam belt and water pump etc has not been replaced just a visual inspection been done?My understanding is it should be 40000 or 4 years for this?the car will be getting remapped so this will be even more of a issue for me,I live in sunderland north east of england so looking for a good adive on were to get it done and were to get the bits etc.

Yes 4yrs or 60k miles.

Just had this done yesterday at a trusted indy.

Parts for timing belt + pump and 4yr 50k (big) service were 0ver £200.

Not had the bill yet but he estimated 4hr labour for the whole lot.

VW is doing fixed prices for these and I assume you could get Skoda to match the VW prices.

You will be right about the 60,000m but theses cars have skoda s.h.,are over 60,000 and I think the next survice is not till over 70,000 so seems bit odd to me when the next survice is not due till over 70,000
