Fueling difficulty

Featured Replies

Two moths ago I puchased a 2011 SKODA Superb Elagence Estate. When I first tried to

fuel the car, all was fine and had no problems. However I later noticed that everytime

I fuel I seem to have a difficulty in inserting the fuel nosel, where for some reason

there are two black (made of a kind of hard ruber) plates that seem

to slide gradually down and narrow down the inlet for the nosel to get

into the fuel tank. It seem to get tighter abd tighter and I am worried in case

I get to a point where I will not be able to insert the fuel nosel into that

tank at all.

Is this normal or am I having a real problem here?

Has anyone seen or hit this problem before?

Can`t say i have had the same problem but i know that some different fuel stations do have slightly different size nozzles on the hoses , maybe this might explain your problem

You just purchased it? See the dealer and make them fix it. :-)
