Hi All,

Just bought a 57 Octavia 1.9TDi PD Elegance. My "old faithful" Passat got wiped out by a petrol tanker 2 weeks ago. Hopefully no lasting damage to me, I now know whiplash is for real :( Went for the Octavia for value & economy as I do a lot of motorway driving, working 200 miles from home, minimum 400/week. Don't think I'll be disappointed... Off for my first real drive soon, only picked it up last night...

Hi all, Anyone else getting repeat Infotainment updates that don't appear to be installing, I'm getting this problem on my 2024 Superbs Infotainment unit nearly every day, when I look on the Information tab I can see the updates and when it says they're installed, and a prompt to say the installation will be active the next time the car is started, so all looks correct. But literally the next day I'll get another message on the screen to say updates are available and ready to install, and the sa

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. That went well and it came to my place this last weekend. Early 2012, 1.2 TSI, 5sp manual, 158k miles on the clock. This is it, just after being washed. Hi! My media player keeps getting stuck in a bootloop. Before it started every other time i started the car but this last year its started only once. I was suggested to change the harddrive cause they though it was corrupt so i bought a new one but i dont have any software and cant find any place to buy the base software to install and not just updates. Any tips for what to do or if any has the software available.

Electric tow bar: coding not working: suggestions?

Hi there! I recently installed on my car an OEM Electric tow bar on my 1.5, but pressing the button inside the trunk, nothing comes out from under the boot. According to Skoda workshop, problem was the control unit: it was the model specific for electric cars with part number Skoda 5H2907383B; in fact looking on VAG the right code for my car is the 5H2907383BLc. I found a pre-owned one over eBay and when mechanic connected it and turned car on, it enlightened itself for awhile. Is it matter o
