The best way to get glue of the car.

Featured Replies

Well last night some little buggers decided to have a dig at the car, kicked the wheel arch scratched by the rear light on the corner, but the worst thing is one of my rub strips were coming lose and they ripped it off taking quite a bit of paint with it, also nicked one, yes one bbs dust cap! So I thought I'll take the other rub strips off properly, I just want to get the glue off to make it look a bit better till I can get the damaged strip and other bits sprayed plus there's a fair but of bubbling under the other strips any way,. Any help would be appreciated.

Any sort of solvent will remove it but it'll take time. Heat may help matters (heatgun).

A toffee wheel is what most body shops would use to get he majority off, then just wipe down with solvent afterwards.

Yep, toffee wheel or fudge wheel.

Stick it end of drill.
