Hello, people I was in skoda the other day looking for a newer octavia as i love them around 2009 and the vrs petrol or diesel, then come accross the new fab vrs and like it alot with the new dsg 1.4 turbo & super charger. I'm in two minds. I want a deposit for a house but also a new car lol.

some opinions needed people yes or no what wil it be. cheers in advance.

MOD EDIT - NO NON FREEDOM ADVERTS PLEASE!

It's up to you.

Surely it really decides on how big a car you require.

The new Fabia is certainly a nice car - Marmite looks (I fall on the side of liking)

But there is more space inside an Octavia.

Surely a house is more important than a car.

Depends which one you want more :)

I'm with you on this one. While the new car is always great, you have what looks like a good motor that you have spent a fair bit of time and money on, non of which you will get back by selling. A house on the other hand ..... IS A HOUSE ! It's gotta be better for entertaining the ladies than the back of a Fabia ? Surely ! Que 70's disco wha wha whaaaaa wha wha wharrrrr ...... B)

**** the house and **** the Fabia, Tsi vRS is where it's at.

Thought I'd Be a rebel lol.

Buy the Fabia vrs and live in a caravan you won't regret it lol

House prices are all over the place and you might you a lot of money in the next few years, either save the money or buy the car

Go for a fabia vRS estate it`s very good car

You can live in your car but you can't drive your house :giggle:

whats wrong with the Octavia you've got?

whats wrong with the Octavia you've got?

nothing mate, owned it two years now i'm due a chanege, all my mates are driving newer cars so i think its time i changed to. Due to me having bad credit rating i need atleast 30% deposit thats atleast 30-40k so a new car looks easier lol.

fair enough, well if you dont feel you are ready to get on the property ladder, then why not! perhaps consider one on PCP, also remember you could get a VRS Fabia during the VAT deal for about £13,995!
