If you look at the top inside the wheel arch you will see an aluminium plate which bolts up, if you unscrew the two torx screws each side of the shocker that hold the arch liner in place and gently pull them back you will see the bolts at the top. hope that helps

Get a Haynes manual.....

The top of the damper rod goes though the alu bracket and has a threadlock nut on it...the alu bracket has two bols which fix it to the bodywork from inside the wheel arch ( no need to go into the boot)....the nut on the top of the damper and the nut on the bolt for the bottom of the damper to beam axle both need replacing as us once only....get new from Skoda dealership......torque settings info see my post. B)

I just put the old ones back on, the bracket (strut at top of wheel arch) as no-where opened to get new ones, and also used the same nut for the bottom bushes as in n.ireland everywhere closes for twelth and thirteenth july. Hope it won`t fall off.

You couldn`t believe it if you tried, one of the new shocks has gone and leaked,p/s.rear, will have to take back for a replacement and do it all over again.
