Activate phone pre-wiring?

Featured Replies

Replaced my Subaru today with an Octavia L & K 2.0 TDI Estate and I am worried. This is the first car that I have bought over the internet and the dealer (big main dealers for lots of other brands, but not Skoda) is miles away. The car was advertised as having the 4 spoke steering wheel with phone functions etc. The dealer confirmed that they had "switched on bluetooth".

I read some of the car owners manual and most of the Bolero manual :wonder: I then tried to connect my Nokia mobile. Enabled bluetooth on the mobile. Ignition on, pressed the phone button but all this does is mute / unmute the radio. When I search for audio enhancements in the Nokia it finds nothing. Got a friend to try his iPhone and it also fails to see the Skoda's bluetooth.

What am I doing wrong?

Activate remote-SIM mode on the Nokia.
