PD100 with PD130 Turbo?

Featured Replies

I am seriously looking at getting a PD130 Turbo fitted onto my PD100, on searching the Forums it seems to be a straight swap(I hope!). Are their different PD100 Engines and PD130 Turbos that won't match/fit? And if so, how do I tell this?

Would it be possible to leave the injectors till later or would I need to do them straight away?

Sorry for so many questions, but I want to make sure I do this right!

Thanks

I've concidered doing this but afaik its not quite as simple as switching over the turbos - you'll need different manifolds, possibly injectors to cope a remap to utilise it - probably looking at edging a grand to get it done right. Possibly not worth it if you think about what that money, including what you'll get for your tdi put towards getting a vRS ;)

devonutopia is the guy to speak to though - he's converted his TDI into a bit of a beast.

I skipped the whole modding the pd100 turbo and went straight to pd130 conversion with 220bhp hybrid turbo though.... :D

can be bolted straight on and it'll run as normal.

All you need is the 130 turbo outlet pipe if it's the same as a MK4 golf.
