Another Problem Now! Engine Stutter!

Could this slight stutter be caused by turbo problems or anything like that???

I sincerely hope not as my turbo is new!

Still stumped but a new MAF has certainly made it a bit smoother but 'tests' are still ongoing ;)

Well, my "hesitation" hadn't reared its head for a while, but I took it in for a service yesterday and they gave the car a good going-over all the same. Still no sign of a cause, no reason to believe there's anything wrong... they did upgrade the ECU software while they were about it, though, so let's see.

I'm hoping that a combination of not-having-seen-it-for-a-while and the reflash means that it's gone. The good thing is that the garage acknowledged that, if a later (post-warranty) problem did appear that was linked to this, they'd honour the fact that they had the fault on record. Not in writing, though, but I'll trust 'em 'cos I'm like that :-)

Is this not the sticky egr that has a tendency to affect bag diesels?

Damn auto correct, should obviously be VAG diesels.
