can't get hold of front fog light lamps

Featured Replies

Hey,

I can't seem to get hold of any felicia 97' front fog light lamps including surrounds anywhere. Theres lots on ebay but they all seem to be for the 98' model onwards and subsequently don't fit. the 98 housing holds circular shaped bulbs and the housing on my 97' Skoda Felicia is to fit square/rectangular shaped bulbs. Any help would be hugely appreciated,

thanks in advance,

Lee A.

hi there i will keep my eye out in local scappy for you but try looking on the bay for breaking felicia are you putting them on or just replacing them as you my need the front loom wires but all the rest is there in side you will need a switch and a relay just plugs in the fuse box

I have some in the garage.....

I am fitting the fogs as there aren't any in the front bumper - I have checked bay and there are some but none of good quality as it were. I have seen 1 or 2 but none have the surround around the edge which is also needed to actually look good.

djay, do yours have the surrounds too? Are you willing to part with them and if you are for how much? :D

Thanks,

Lee.

Careful lads, PM each other about this, or the mods will be down on you like a ton of bricks.

Yeah, I can vouch for that. Even the mere mention that you've got something that *might* be useful........

I would try the scappies, it look me a few goes to find them but it all came good in the end

I did indeed use that post for some pointers on fitting them to see what work would have to be involved.

Managed to pick up a pair of very good condition, working bulbs and surrounds for £10 which was a good price imo.

Took longer than expected to fit them though, the switch easy as pie but had to remove the bumper (which I really wanted to avoid) to do the screws up behind! :(

Other than that it makes a pretty good modification to the ole felly :D

As I kind of retrograde step I've just removed the fogs from my felicia to make space for something

Reviving this again-:

I got hold of a front fog button from 'The Bay' obviously to turn them on but the bulb behind the button seems to be broken and doesn't light-up when the sidelights are on (however all other switches and toggles do as intended and it does still turn the lights on and off :D)...

Looking at the whole switch it will have to be taken apart but before I do that I want to some confirmation that the bulb can be replaced! :o

So.. is the bulb replaceable? From the outside it looks irreplaceable but I could be mistaken... :D

Iirc they can be replaced, but they are really tricky to take apart without busting them, a brand spanking new switch is about £7 from the skoda dealer.
