19" Wheels

Featured Replies

Hi i am looking to get some 19" wheels with 235/35/19 tyres on them now will these rub with the octy vrs standard springs or would i need different size tyres please help asap as am looking to buy them tonight

Nope, they'll fit. Don't go wider than 235, they'll rub.

Get the offset right as well, probably ET32 if they are 19x8

Hi rochford only do Fitment available is 5x100 et35, 5x112 et35, 5x112 et45.whoch ones are for mine

if they are 19x7.5 you could probably get away with the 35. If they are 8" wide, you will need ET32 or spacers, in which case they'll rub on the arches when hard cornering (unless you have non-standard suspension)

Oh and the PCD you want is 5x100 (it's the bolt spacing, sorry if that's being patronising)

All that rochford do is

19" RS6 & Tyres 8019RS6

5x 100 is correct

19" look good. they will rub.. what ever fitment you get .

and slow the car down

17" make it fast.

They'll rub, unless you fit some 5mm spacers, oh, you'll need different wheel bolts as well.

I wouldn't buy them.

ok im gonna go for the 18" but would you say a8 or rs6

A8 RS6 is last years look..

or go for the Gallardo ones...

I have 19" Superleggeras on my Octy. After a lot of faffing with different tyres, we settled on 225/35/19 Uniroyals. They do NOT rub. Ever. Even when loaded with 4 lardy blokes and luggage. No rubs on full lock either. I have run my 19's for 40,000 miles and several trackdays (including several laps around the 'Ring) and have never once experienced rubbing.

As for slowing the car down, maybe my wheels' light weight negates some/all of this effect, but I noticed no ill effects from making the swap, other than a harsher ride.

Has to be the RS8 for me :D

Pic of my octy on 19" RS8 but lowered on coilovers.

Ive seen a yellow rs round manchester with 19x8 tsw pace alloys and lowered, had a very muscular stance. It really transformed the look. Thats if you fancy shelling out

thats would be my guess..and you have jsut confiremed it... recently two of my mates running 40 and 60mm drops on an MG and a Astra have put 19" rims on with no rubbing and the octy has loads more arch space... if they do rub..nothing a grinder can't sort out ;):D

Yes, in the correct offset they will be OK. ET35 is not good on 8" wheels.
