Car going into the paint shop

Featured Replies

Doing a couple of repairs, also some subtle changes, 1st the rub strips have come off but the paint behind was a state so that's being sorted, the grill I sprayed black is going silver with the rest of the car, and the mirrors are going completely silver (getting rid of the black) repairs include a bit of rust down by the rear arch which I was surprised about. I will put before pics on tommorow then after pics on Wednesday when it's back, once that's done I'll be sticker bombing the front splitter, which will either look good or crap!

Or look so crap it's good ;)

Didn't think of it that way only time will tell!

It's going to be very silver anyway lol :p I like the black bits around the mirrors, you need bits here and there to break the paint up IMO

I'm going to try all silver and hope it looks good ain't seen it done on here before so hopefully be good different!

With the loads of stickers will be extra weight to give more traction to front wheels. LOLemoticon-0148-yes.gif

Ah ha didn't think of that I'll hang a few fishing weights off the front while I'm at it!

Mirrors should look different. I went all metallic black on the mirrors to match the roof. Was a mammoth job really, and even though I took my time one mirror is already in need of doing again - going "scorched earth" cracked appearance.
