My Skoda Roomster went in for a vallet to the Skoda dealer, also with a fault of the glove box light being on all the time. Thought this could be dangerous as the glove box upper cover was getting very hot. The Skoda dealership fixed it but when my wife drove the car she dicovered that the seat beat audible warning was sounding all the time. She drove it back to the Skoda dealership they said they had to order a part for the car now and there would be a charge because the car is out of warranty. They said just coincidence that the fault developed whe they were fixing the glove box light!

How much is the part? (plus labour to fit the part).

You could get someone with VCDS to code out the seatbelt warning so it doesn't make a noise or display the dashboard light..
