vRS Leather Seat Repair

Featured Replies

The seat bolsters in my 06 plate Octavia vRS are worn and look a bit tatty somewhat spoiling an otherwise immaculate interior. Has anyone tried any of the leather recolouring kits available that are pretty cheap? Can anyone reccomend a set that has a good colourmatch to the vRS part leather interior?

Cheers

Rich

I had a local trimmer re do my bolster on a previous car (not a vrs) with very good results but the issue you face is finding a material that matches -ie leather that is the same spec/colour.

I doubt that a re-colour kit will do anything if the leather is actually worn.

I would also expect that a new cover would be available from skoda (but may be costly) so maybe check out ebay or breakers for a cover in better condition than your own?

I've used Gliptone Liquid Leather on a previous car to repair a badly scuffed/worn leather steering wheel with excellent results. Have a look at their website.
