2 phones with OEM BT?

Collected my Octavia today with Bolero and factory BT, paired my iphone no problems, all works perfectly, my wife has a Blackberry, the Blackbarry finds the car, but the car wont find the Blackberry, so this got me thinking, can the OEM BT work with two phones or do you have disconnect each phone and restart the connection with a different phone each time??

i.e. what I want to acheive is when I am in the car it automatically finds mine, when the wife is in the car it automatically finds hers?

Is that possible??

Same with my Blackberry in the wife's car..Finds hers but not mine..But the Blackberry finds the car...Very annoying..so I would like a remedy for this too

As is common with most BT kits the car can be paired with many phones, however it can only be connected to one phone at a time . By default it will always connect to the last phone it was connected to, and will connect to the other one if the first phone is not present. You can manually switch the phone connected in the phone menu on maxi dot.

The reason being, how would it know what phone to use should you make a call and what would happen should both phones have incoming calls.

Yes I can see that and what you say makes sense, it just wont connect to my wifes BB 8520 Curve, seems odd? I know there was Iphone issues with earlier versions of the BT kit, but mine has the latest version, so I presumed the BB would be a straightforward pairing, I will keep plugging away and see if it marries them up?

strange question, but is the blackberry is discoverable mode and not hidden as you can have the BT switched on but hidden etc
