Next up is a dv sticking out of the bonnet for extra tiss and a nice big 4 inch nova style exhaust but only the backbox so definitely no gains. Haha.

I'll try get a video today of it and has anyone actually attempted it yet??

Sorry to dig up an old-ish thread, just stumbled upon this from a VW document, seems it really is just purely to reduce noise from the SC.

 

 

Sucks that they had to add so much of the stuff to try and get rid of that lovely sound.

 

Perhaps when I get round to ordering a GFB DV+ I want to have a tinker with the foam, heard things such as it improves throttle response among other things though it may just be placebo, can't hurt either way.
