Hi there welcome to this site and your Skoda.

The VRS only comes in 180 BHP form. The 4x4 are all 150 BHP. The early ones have a K03 turbo (same as Golf 1.8T) but the later ones have the KO3s turbo, same as our VRS and anniversary Golf 1.8T. So they can be mapped to slightly more the the KO3 turbo'd cars.

You could look up Pendle performance near you

http://www.pendleperformance.com/feedback/index.php

Or nowadays you do not need to visit a mapper. Various companies can post you a OBD software upgrade that you plug into your ECU OBD port to load the map.

Shark performance do this and are well recommended. Think Revo might do this now too.

hope this helps

ok thanks for your help

Slight amendment to the above, all UK vRS Octavias are 180bhp, 150bhp models were made for poorer fuel countries such as India.

amendment accepted.

Typically the VRS cars that we expect to see in UK are all 180BHP is where i was coming from.

Indeed, I was just being pedantic. Can't help it, bloody know it all.
