Boost Gauge Hose, Advice please

Featured Replies

Is it ok to use silicon vacuum hose to feed my boost gauge, the plastic pipe that came with the gauge is clear windscreen washer pipe and I'm not to keen on using it as you can't get clips small enough so relying on just a push fit. I have some Samco Silicon vacuum hose which is a nice tight fit and have some clips to match but it says in the Demon Tweeks Catalogue it's not designed for "pressurised installations" although the pack says it's rated at 5bar. Anyone used this stuff??

small clear tubing you will need! as when you get to the end of the gauge, the tube has to go back into the gauge!

with little gold bit and screw on bolt!

I would use the silicon vacuum hosing instead. It will be more durable and look better

I did the same in my last car.
