Can someone please post a pic of their oem head unit im lookin for one off a fabia vrs but i presume octys will us the same.

Ok thanks, well in that case can anyone post a pic of a fabia vRS OEM head unit. Unless other fabia models have it, its the one with the single slot cd player.

To fill in the gap, the HU will be the same shape as these ones, only these are OEM tape decks from a Fabia. As I say, same shape though. :D

On a connected note, can one extract the OEM radio if one doesn't have the keys to do it? All I've found in the archive so far is http://www.briskoda.net/forums/showthread.php?t=19092 which suggests keys are required. And how does one get the button blanks above the unit out.

Reason - I'm considering fitting a Parrot CK3100 (including installing the head unit through a button blank) and want to avoid the

Cut up an old credit card to the required thickness to fit in the removal slots.

You will need to push it in sufficiently to release the catch.

(The stiffer the credit card the better).

This works every time for me if I dont have the right keys.
