How install remote central locking on FABIA

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have the central locking system in my fabia but i would now add a remote to it. Did aybody perform the upgrade? And if so could you please guys HELP me with a little "how to do". Is there any "DIY" guide with picture to help me out? i ve bee through a bounch of german forums... didn t find anything...

How do you connect the locking system to the receiver of the remote?

How do you connect the blinkers to the receiver of the remote?

Is it possible to make the trunk button of the remote work? Because the trunk is eletrical so i might work....

Thank you very much!!!

A desespered driver

GOT IT......buy a vRS :D No seriously i have no idea although i am sure some tecchie will be along soon to help out

The easiest way might be to buy an aftermarket alarm that can be linked to the existing central locking system.

I had Big K fit it.

Sorted.

i already have the receiver the remotes and the cables.. all in need is to link the receiver of the remote to the central locking system. But i have not clue where the central locking system is located. Could anybody help with if possible a pictire of the thing.

What about the connection for the trunk and the blinkers?

thanks very much !!

I'm sure it all needs hooking up in the control panel which resides behind the dashboard, at the steering wheel end. A PM to our resident big_k who did my remote central locking install wouldn't be worthless. :)
