No word from the dealer so called Skoda UK, I must add they were very helpful, supplied me with build week (46)and order number.They also advised what I should expect regarding information from the dealer, regular updates and notification of any changes to BW etc.

Enjoy the wait! Mine was built week 42 and I collected it the 24th of November 2011 (to help with a time frame).

Skoda UK advised that delivery for certain models is anything between 6 and 9 months but build times are improving

What I should have asked was when my order was actually placed with Skoda, I ordered with dealer on 19th May but when did they get around to ordering. Is this the reason I'm looking at 7 months, how does this compare with other orders placed in May?

Should add order for 170hp Elegance, straight forward extras.

The 170 has always had long lead times. I waited 23 weeks for mine - ordered July last year.
