These cars sell themselves so I’ll keep it fairly brief.

170000 miles (and still in daily use). Full VW service history to 150k. Last oil change service was done by my friend and I using genuine VW filters / oil from GSF. Over £3500 worth of receipts since 04/2006 including second cam belt done at 120k (12/12/2006) and there was a problem with selecting 1st and 2nd gear so the gearbox was overhauled and new clutch installed (by VW) at 150k (16/04/2009). I have ensured that this car has been very well maintained.

Bad bits: There is a scratch/small dent on the bonnet (pic included to show as last buyer didn't buy as couldn't see it) and a couple of marks on the wheels which I think were caused by a tyre fitter a while ago.

I have owned my car since Feb 2006. It took me a while to find the right one with the right spec. This is the best car I have ever owned and I’m gutted the time has come to sell it. The only reason I am selling is because I’ve now got a baby and want a larger car for family trips etc. Anyone who knows about these cars will know that the 150bhp ARL diesel engine is the best. It gives you loads of power – pulls like a train! And yet it will return 55+MPG on a civilised run.

I am the second owner of this car, the first was VWFS (VW finance Services – a reps car which has been sat on the motorways clocking up the millage.) I bought this car when I had a 120mile round trip to work, hence the millage being pilled on cruising on the duel carriageway at 65mph.

Please don’t let the millage put you off as these engines just keep going and going and this one has been thoroughly maintained.
