Right so here's the problem my cat back exhaust sticks out from the rear bumper too much and I don't like it so I want to push it back in, I've had some one look at it and the problem is it can't go back into the cat any more, even if it could all the mounts are on the bends so you can't move it without sorting out the mounts. I've been hearing about this cutting the backbox out thingy, now if I did that I could just replace the back box with a shorter piece if pipe right? But I don't really want a load more noise and have heard it does, any other suggestions?

if your only taking the back box out it doesnt make any diffrence on noise (if its a diesel) just gives a noise changing gear that i can only describe as an owl stuck up your exhaust lol
