Windscreen washers

Featured Replies

Had my vRS a week now. Went to use the windscreen washers for the first time yesterday and - nothing. Bugger I thought, here's my first fault. Anyway got home and checked the washer bottle. Guess what - empty. So much for the P.D.I.

Coming from a Mk 1 vRS with it's low level warning ,I found this a bit irritating. Has anyone had a poke around the washer bottle area to see if the wiring for the sensor is there. I know a few people have enabled this via vcds and maxidot supports the warning but obviously doesn't work without the sensor. I guess the sensor and a larger washer bottle would be fitted to cars with headlamp washers ???.

Could be as simple as a fuse?

Think it was said before the sensor is installed if headlight washers are. Still needs to be activated with vcds even if its there
