What leather seats will fit the octavia?

Featured Replies

Ok I drive an Octavia as a taxi at work and as you can imagine the seats that are in there are starting to show their age, however everything else on the car is good so i've convinced my boss to buy a leather interior for it which wil hopefully be harder wearing and easier to clean.

Only trouble is i can't find a leather interior for an octavia only the vrs which isn't full leather, i have however heard rumours of interiors from other VAG cars fitting but i was hoping someone on here could tell me which ones as since its not my own car or my own money i can't really afford to make any mistakes! Ideally i want them to be manually adjustable but i guess the electrics would be fairly easy? also needs to have 3x3 point rear seat belts, of course if anyone has anything in black leather that will fit they want to sell then let me know.

They will need to fit an 05 Octavia Ambiente 2.0tdi

Any help very much appreciated.

Thanks

Bob

Have you considered getting your current seats recovered in leather instead. Places like Seat Surgeons can do it for a very reasonable price and may work out the same as buying a good condition interior.

The Octavia L&K had full leather & that would be my choice, also a very nice leather steering wheel to match, worth a call http://www.skospares.com/

Golf & A3 share the same platform so should work, but only the seats, door cards etc wont swap.

Things like side air bags, heated seats etc if you have them need to be compatible.

I Put a set of Recaro leathers from a Golf in a Mk 1 Octy & I guess with the Mk 2's sharing the same platform with later Golfs etc it should still work.

If you have air bags I was advised to disconect the battery when you swap things over

The leather seats from the vRS LE will pop straight in.

Seatsurgeons will re do your seats for about £800

Yep, cars from the same platform will have compatible seats. You'd have to check the rear bench and backrest though, as these can differ.

So Mk5 Golf, Audi A3 Mk2 8P, Leon Mk2 etc.

From what you've written though, a re-trim might be best. As suggested, contact Seat Surgeons.
