As the topic says is itt possible to upgrade and fit a comobus navi unit instead of the amundsen?

Tried searching but didnt find any info about it.

yes just plug and play but the climatic controll doesnt work.

iam waiting for a cheap (nonchina) one on ebay or another falling of a truck .

isnt the columbus a bigger unit? and therefore taking the space of the climate control unit?

I think the OP is trying to say that the unit does not display climate control info like it does in other VAG group cars; Climatronic unit in the Fabia is not that advanced. Guess if you have parking sensors that you still get the OPS.

friends with the columbus/rns510 can controll the aircon with the radio unit wich doesnt work on cars that came without it oem , but anyhow you can still use the original one
