Throttle Vibration

Featured Replies

After driving about 7500 miles in my new VRS (petrol and DSG) I am now getting vibration coming through the throttle, I've taken it back to the dealer and they rebalanced the offside front which did not cure it, my question is should Ibe concerned about this, could it be down to tyres (Conti Sport 2)/tyre pressure (as per book. I get the vibration at all speeds but it's the same at 30 as it is at 70+. I have noticed on some roads that it seems to go away so this is leading me to assume it's tyres but then why was everything perfect for 7500 miles. I'm going to take it back to the dealer but if some knowlegable folk could give me a steer as to what it might be the dealership may actually find something and fix it.

Thanks in advance

As an update, Skoda technical have been involved and apparently they suggest that I get the car ballanced, tyres/chasis/etc apparently Skoda/VW and AUDI don't have the rig to do this but Bentley do so I have an appointment on the 28th of this month with bentley for them to work some magic.

Anyone else suffering I would suggest giving your local dealer a lot of hassle until they fill in one of their technical forms and pass it back to Skoda this facilitates a call from Skoda customer services and eventually something starts to happen, hopefully this trip to a Bentley dealership will sort the problem, I'll update after the vist.
