i took a monte carlo on a test drive and i noticed on the maxidot it had gear change recomondation is this standard or a extra i only thougt it was on the green line

Think it's appeared on all TSI engines?

Havn't got the maxi dot on my Monte. Just the trip computer, black writing on green back ground. Not really bold enough for my liking, but it does have the gear change prompt B)

Turbo...if you get one I suggest you ignore the gear change indicator light. It usually tells you to change gear too early and this often increase fuel consumption rather than saves it. That's just from what people are telling me and my own limited experience of driving them. What are your initial thoughts about the Monte and that cr1.6 engine? Good luck with what you decide upon.

i wasnt blown away with power obvsly, very nice drive i found it stuck to the round well on the bends , breaks were good , and suspension didnt seem hard at all considering it suppose to have sport suspension wich im glad of to be honest, its a top little car :thumbup:
