sunset glasses

Featured Replies

My next car Yeti was ordered with suntset glasses. I am asking... these glasses are good for the UV of the sun? Is more better than Llumar, Suntek..?

All windows rear of the B pillar are a darker tint. It might reduce UV, but I have no idea.

I don't think UV is a problem, to my understanding UV is quite effectively blocked by any sheet of glass.

Heat radiation is another story - heat from the sun shining is very efficently transmitted through normal glass, and here the SunSet tinting does not do very much to help. They might look nice, but if you want to really block the heat from the sun you need some decent tinting foil.

in this example the glass in the rear door is Sunset glass, the boot window is foil that lets 15% of the light through, and windows this dark really helps to keep the sunshine heat on the outside.
