New motor

Featured Replies

Well just arrived home after picking up my 110 SE in aqua blue after a 120 miles journey from the supplier.

Ordered through Discounted new cars as they offered me the best deal and could source a vehicle. After initailly being told on order that the vehicle had just arrived at the UK port - it took a further 8 weeks to be collected and PDI'd mmmmh!!

Supplying dealer to above provider being Simpsons of Preston.

What can I say except I was very pleasantly surprised with the way it drives. Previous car being a Seat Altea PD105, I thought initially that they had sourced me the wrong car. It is just so quiet after the Altea - both the engine and road noise. Aware that there have been discussions regarding the quality of the Yeti's interior in comparison to other vehicles especially the Octavia but all I can say is The quality of the Yeti shows up just how bad the Seat's is! I have owned A4's and VRS Octavia's previously, amongst other vehicles and the quality is very good.

No rattles or squeeks to report. After spirited drive home the trip was indicating 47 mpg.

So, very happry to date just need to 'personalise the car now.

Was informed by the company that Greenline Yeti's are currently being pushed as part of a Skoda initiative and that they should be readily available from Sept in the UK. Not sure how reliable this info is.

Enjoy prancing around in the new Monster! We need pics after it has been personalised of course!
