wheel goemetry problems on octavia vrs ltd hatch back

Featured Replies

If you are pulling slightly to one side and both of your thrust angles are 0.00 then it must be something else - tyre pressures, brake binding etc.

Could of course be down to the rear tyres.

One thing I noticed after having mine done was you can tell when the camber of the road is trying to pull you one way or the other.

Cheers Andy! A good tip! I'll get those new rears on then check for brake binding & pressures. Cheers

Right!! New Continental Sport Contact 3's fitted to the rear of my Vrs today, I knew one of the rears (drivers side) had sawtoothed on the inside, but wow!!! Wish I had a camera, all of the belt was hanging out & the tyre fitter said that the worn area was virtually red hot to touch.

Anyway new tyres on and if you recall after the Hunter hawkeye alignment (prior to new rear tyres) the car then pulled to the left, with new rear tyres it now pulls ever so slightly to the right, I'm guessing it's my front tyres now. Tyre place fitted the extra loading SC3's 225/45/17 for £116.30 per tyre.
