Falken 452's - Pressure?

Featured Replies

I've had some 452's fitted on my vRS, question is what pressure are people running these at?

Checked the Falken PDF at: http://www.falkentyres-uk.com/downloads.aspx

which states 2.2bar/32psi at front & 2.6bar/37psi at rear...

Sounds way to much at the rear to me?

When I ran them on my Leon Cupra TDI (same chassis), I just stuck with the SEAT original, 33 all round for an unloaded car. Felt better through corners when I overinflated them a little bit, but would cause slightly uneven wear so I went back to standard pressures.

look under petrol filler cap for pressures

i run 32 all round

On my TDi estate (16inch) I run at 35-36 at the front (my front NS leaks a bit, so I keep that topped on a weekly basis) and 33-34 on the rears when it is just me in the car. If I am transporting parents (and stuff) then I bump up the rear a bit.

On mine (also on 205/55R16s [Toyo Proxes T1-R]), I started at the standard pressures (from filler cap) and added 2PSI all round when several of us reported under-inflation wear all round, so if you don't get a quick answer, I'd follow that tactic too. The only justification I can see for 37PSI rear is full load condition.

I run them a 34 all round with no problems. It just feels a bit tighter to me then the suggested 32.

I run 32psi all round on my VRS. I tried 34 psi but the car tramlined far too much for my liking.

thanks guys :)

34psi

I run 31 front 33 rear for same size tyre, had no problems.

Front 32psi, rear 34psi on spiders 205/50 17

I do 33 front, 35 rear. Works for me and has for the last five and a half years. Any lower and it feels more sluggish - all in my mind, but I'm happy. Oh, and I run 205 50 17s and am currently halfway through a set of Hankook V12 Evos, 4.5mm left after 11k miles.
