Hi - I'm having trouble with my fuel gauge readings - it's saying full when I know it's not - then running out of petrol.. Have seen posts about it being the sender unit but I don't know how to take it out to have a look - can anybody help?

Pop up the rear seat base. Then lever out the black plastic panel and disconnect the wiring plug underneath. The delivery unit that incorporates the sender comes out after you have undone the securing ring around it's edge, it unscrews anti clockwise. When refitting make sure the seals is in place of it will leak fuel everywhere.

Thankyou for replying - Have got so far but can't remove the black plastic holding unit with the wiring attached - do I force it or is there a knack?
