My 170 elegance had no signs of any bluetooth facilities on delivery. After much research with Skoda UK and tests my dealer had just about given up (for the time being) when he discovered that by simply unplugging and reconnecting the power to the bluetooth box under the drivers seat - hey presto - all was working including missing maxidot display etc. etc. I connected my phone and for about 3 weeks all was well. Today I notice that once again there is no bluetooth facility available.

I think I can safely assume that another disconnect/connect of that bluetooth unit will do the trick again but my questions are. Has anyone else suffered this. Is that power lead to the box easy to access (for me to try it). If it is always a dealer job - warranty right now - then is it worth insisting on a new bluetooth unit right now.

It's a box under the front seat in an octavia. About 8x6 inch.

Check the manual to see if the Bluetooth has it's own fuse as it would be easier to pull that to cut the power that fumbling upside-down under the dash.

Can't help much more than that I'm afraid as I don't have Bluetooth installed.

Bluetooth module is under drivers seat as per above Octavia & if you have it the amp is under the passenger seat.
