Fabia SDi mpg figures?

Featured Replies

Just wondered what other Fabia SDi owners get as a regular mpg figure?

I've owned my 52 plate SDi estate for just over six weeks covering just over two and a half thousand miles. I seem to be getting around 62-63 mpg with around 520 miles to roughly 38 ltrs of fuel. I'd say that's pretty good considering that's a mostly urban/country roads with the car being driven easliy. :)

in 18months I've averaged 54mpg, lowest was 51 during the very cold winter, highest has been 78 on a long run. Day to day I only do 6miles to work so its not really getting warmed up, says 57 on the clock which I've worked out to be about 53.

Ah, the trip computer is a little off on the mpg figures then. Perhaps I'm not getting the stated 62-63 mpg. Apart from that has the car been reliable? This is my first Fabia.

just passed this years MOT with only £14.20 for a balljoint, Seems to be pretty reliable, most major item I've done in nearly 2 years is a starter motor. When I bought it I replaced rear springs and front bushes, apart from that just oil and filters :p

Just over 6 years, 73709 miles done by me at average of 59.084mpg. A lot of it was town work, visiting people for work. The only reason it's that low is that I didn't change the thermostat and temperature sender when I should have. Car's nearly done 133,000 miles now.
