From now until the end of September 2011, customers buying new petrol cars via ŠKODA Finance won’t have to pay any VAT.

They can also get zero-per-cent finance if they choose to buy with our latest Skoda Finance Offers.

Cars that qualify

No VAT and zero-per-cent HP are available on any of the following cars bought via ŠKODA Finance:

• petrol Fabias

• petrol Roomsters (excluding DSG models)

• petrol Octavias (excluding 1.6 MPI and Scout models)

All qualifying models will need to be registered and sold by close of business on 30 September 2011.

VAT-free offer can be combined with all other finance options.

Although we feel our zero-per-cent HP offer will tempt the most people into our showroom, the offer of no VAT can be combined with any of ŠKODA Finance’s market-leading funding options including our fantastic Personal Contract Plan (PCP) at only 7.9APR which not only attracts the NO VAT OFFER but also comes with with FREE SERVICING !

Please ask for full terms and conditions.

Hmm I seem to remember this was posted a little while ago, and they didnt have much stock left around my area. Dealers were like "we have two colours left, they're running out quickly blah blah". So, perhaps nothing huge to shout about unless they have new stock in.

This has had me thinking about a 2.0T vRS DSG ALL DAY LONG!

I've almost convinced myself I should go for it  :(

All I can say is sorry...

If you do go for it I'll give you a Freedom package and send the bill to Skoda UK...

I wish I'd got a DSG every time I get to traffic now. If I was not commuting I'd be in a DSG flappy paddler petrol car now I reckon.

That said I so dearly miss my 1.8T vRS...emoticon-0106-crying.gif

It is ok Colin, I spotted it on the Skoda website before seeing it here so I'll let you off!

Now I've slept on it I've decided I won't be going for one. My commute might be going from 6 to 60 miles a day soon. If that happens I think I'll be wanting a diesel. It is also about a year earlier than I was looking to change my car and I'm sure other offers will come round.

It is a cracking deal though. For a laugh I also priced up a similar Golf :o

EDIT- I hadn't realised my freedom had run out... oops :giggle:
