Newbie with a problem

Featured Replies

After having my Octavia for a week (and being happy with it) the 'Control system for exhaust gases' warning light has come on - the one that looks like an engine. The car seems to be driving ok, it's a 2005 2 litre FSI, mileage 45k, does anyone know what's likely to be the problem?

Hi,

The warming light could be caused by one of many things, the only way is to check is to use a obd scanner or vcds.

The fact that the car still runs ok suggests that it is nothing major.

Probably a faulty sensor
