My sound source is a 2din Kenwood DNX 7200 dvd player with Sat-Nav and bluetooth.

More photos of my mods coming!

Very nice. I love that wheel - but it seems to be on the wrong side of the car/

LOL!

Thanks!!!

OOOOOOOOO

That wheel is ace mate. not so keen on the crome parts but the look of it and the perf leather matches spot on lol..

does that fit direct? or does it need anything else?

I like the newer s3 ones. I think a flat bottom wheel is nice.

billy

Am I right in thinking that the steering wheel has a smaller diameter than the OE one ?

You are right about the chrome parts...but since fitted it is a bit difficult to take them apart for painting...I should stay without car for 2-3 days!

Do you prefer R32's piano black?

It's almost direct fit! :) You have to cut the connector from your old airbag and apply to the new one!

Unfortunattely NO!!! Flat bottom is deceiving...!

Μπράβο! Πολύ ωραία! B)

With no more than 250 euro (aprox 220 pounds) it was in my front door!!!

There are some sellers from Portugal in Ebay.co.uk that are quite cheap!

Dials are interesting.

If you are worried about heat have you considered going back to the standard air box system and fitting an uprated panel filter?.

Not sure if i like the wheel or not lol, cant decide :p. Good effort!

It's very difficult to have a nice photo!

In reality white lighting is 1.000 times better when you are inside the car!

I also installed a dimmer!

  • 10 months later...

Where did you get the dials?

very nice.. did you just replace the SM LEDs in the clocks?

Never seen a mk1 vrs tacho that goes to 8000rpm...... Wish mine did!

Liking the white light look!!!!! VERY good indeed!!!

Steve, actually it doesn't go to 8000rpm !!!! The "red" area is at the exact same point.6800rpm

I just added two numbers , zero (0) and eight (8) to be more symmetric!
