New Skoda Yeti Elegance in Norway

Featured Replies

Hi!

Bought my Yeti brand new the last week of June and have driven more than 6500 km´s since,

the first trip was a 4000 km trip T/R from Oslo to Tromsø, far north of the Artic Circle.

So far I am extremely happy with the car, fast, funny and really cheap on fuel.

My average since the car was new (step 2 on the computer) is 5.9L pr 100km, which is

close to 40 miles per gallon.

I bought this one since I was in a hurry as my old car was not repairable due to a crash,

and I could not wait 5-6 months on one built on my specifications. So I "had" to take one

the dealer had gotten in the same day from the factory, with every (yes vitually every)

option in the catalogue.

If I had been able to choose I would not have bought the parking assistant and the sunroof,

possible not the leather seats and maybe not the biggest stereo/navigation pack,

but now after 7 weeks I have totally changed my mind and are very happy with the seats,

sunroof and navigation, can still live without the parking assistant. :-)

The only problem we have had so far is that the Bluetooth suddenly stopped working

so now I can not connect my iPhone to the handsfree on the Yeti.

Oh well, just a minor thing that the dealer will easily fix I guess.

My last car was a 2009 SAAB 93 Aero Sportwagon, this Yeti is just as good on the roads

which is a big surprise. I am used to SUVs, have owned LandRovers, Chevy and Toyotas,

this is by far the best SUV I have driven.

Well thats all for now, I will keep you posted about the life in a Yeti in Norway,

I just cant wait until it starts snowing here :-)
