Help with options...

Featured Replies

I returned to my wee Fabia last Wed to find some scumbag had taken a kick at both my doors on the drivers side and had left a couple of dents.

As gutted as I was, I was at least hopeful they could be repaired relatively easily as they are in the middle of the panel.

This is apparently not the case as I spoke to one of the dent removal companies and the guy said the rear dent had stretched the metal over the internal crash bar so he would struggle to fix it, and the front door would be at least £150 and he couldn't guarantee a 100% fix - especially as the car is black.

So, what are my options? I don't really want it filled and painted, would a bodyshop recommend a replacement door or do you think they would go for the filling option?

I was thinking about trying to source some replacement doors but how hard will it be to transfer over my windows as they are tinted?

Any other options I have not thought about?

I can't believe this, I spent 9.5 hours going over the bodywork about 3 weeks ago with clay bar and my Kestrel DA and the wee car was looking spotless - I am gutted!

Cheers,

Steven
