There is no screwdriver in the tool kit. Mine has the place too. My sisters new Fabia also doesn't have a screwdriver either but the place is there in the toolkit. I'm not even sure it was ever intended for a screwdriver, but is maybe a throwback to when the cars had a slightly different wheel removal kit.

Do you get one if you bought an Audi?

Probably use the same boxes in those..

Just a guess

There are empty spaces in order to allow you the luxury of BUYING tools, the screwdriver too, and to have somewhere to store them.

You may think its a bit tight of Skoda NOT to include these tools at the factory but then, they are reliable and warranty'ed from new, aren't they?

This does seem to be the way with cars... The tools being purchased where as new motorcycles INCLUDE the basic kit! Car manufacturers even seem to get away with not supplying a spare wheel and jack/brace now, too!

No it doesn't come with one, really the average motorist would never need a screw driver.

I've never known a car to come with any tools other than what's needed to fit the spare

Worst I've EVER had to do was add coolant or oil.

Oh, I did an oil change once on an old Nissan Almera I had...

/touches lots of wood.

Saw the salesman and was told you don't get one. So there we go.
