Engine cover

Featured Replies

Can anyone help me out as I'm looking for an engine cover for my SE.

Is it very possible that my car never had a cover from production and if yes then can one be fitted afterwards?

This is how the engine bay looks - don't mind the airfilter etc the cover effectively will be modified.

I do not think the 1.4 had a engine cover :dull: your best bet is to get one made for it

The engine cover on your engine is the black plastic trim on there already

When the 1.4 has an engine cover on the MK1 (not fitted to MK2) it's also the air box and goes over the throttle body so it's not going to work.

That much I thought so too from all the info I've gathered. :(

So if someone needs to make a custom cover/s where should he look? I bet it must expensive to make.

I just hate the fact that my engine bay looks a bit of a mess and gets easily dirty which reminds me I need to give it a good clean now that the summer is officially over for me.
